This new edition is even more flexible, providing students reminders of strategies printed on standard labels and carried with them in a small booklet. The idea behind this CD/workbook package is that once a student has learned a strategy for overcoming behaviors that may be causing him or her problems, presented in the Sticker Strategies CD and book, the instructor sticks the strategy sticker in a flip notebook. The student carries the flip book with him/her throughout the day. With the flip book, the student can easily and discretely refer to the strategies s/he already learned to solve problems with independence. The result is fewer behavioral breakdowns and classroom disruptions, while teaching self-reliance and problem-solving anytime, anywhere.

This is a great tool for a student that recognizes his/her weaknesses and is motivated to improve. This tool is not effective for students that either don’t realize that they need improvement or who aren’t motivated to help themselves.

While originally developed for use with students with social cognitive learning challenges (the higher end of the autism spectrum, ADHD, NLD, etc.), these strategies can easily be applied to any child who needs that strong visual reminder which is a much more powerful teacher than an adult’s “nag.” Teaching materials included on CD for easy printing.

Now, not only can you print however many strategies you want onto a variety of flip books, but you can customize and save the formatted stickers in Word for individual students or behaviors and add your own notes in the Word document. The previous book included actual stickers, making the book expensive to print. This CD/book package is half the earlier version's price and even more versatile!

You can download, print and tape or, if using Avery labels stick to your 4"x6" spiral-bound notepad the two new Spiral of Social Success and Spiral of Social Failure labels! Note: every printer is different so the format of this standard PDF might cause some printers to trim a small portion of the border if printed onto labels, not affecting the actual sticker message - and you can also just print and tape or paste without using the Avery labels.
